Our Procedures
- Laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) uses the excimer laser to correct refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism) by removing a small amount of tissue beneath a thin flap of corneal tissue.
- The iLASIK procedure reshapes your cornea to correct the refractive imperfections in your eye (these imperfections are essentially the reason you are nearsighted, farsighted, etc.).
- CustomVue also includes the WaveScan technology to create a map of your vision. If beneficial PreVue lenses can be provided as a way to "preview" your potential vision results.
- PRK, or photorefractive keratectomy, has proven remarkably effective at treating myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism.
